For two nights the Orkestra Simfoni Kebangsaan shares its stage with Aubrey Suwito, one of the most recorded composers, arrangers and music directors in Malaysian popular music — and the songs everyone already knows get to be heard at full orchestral scale.
Pop × Simfoni is exactly what its name promises: melodies that grew up on radio, rebuilt for a symphony orchestra. Even the ticket categories are named after songs — Bukan Cinta Biasa, Awan Yang Terpilu, Seribu Impian, Memori Tercipta, Gemilang.
